About the role
This opening supports two focused engineering tracks: frontend developers who specialize in accessible, responsive interfaces, and backend developers who specialize in secure APIs, business logic, and data. Candidates may apply to the track that best matches their strengths while collaborating across the full product lifecycle.
What you will do
- Deliver tested features within your frontend or backend specialization.
- Collaborate on requirements, API contracts, data flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Write maintainable code and participate in review, debugging, and release activities.
- Improve accessibility and browser performance on the frontend or reliability and query performance on the backend.
- Document decisions and support the features you ship.
What you bring
- 2+ years of professional frontend or backend web development.
- Frontend track: HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, responsive design, accessibility, and React or Vue.
- Backend track: PHP/Laravel or Node.js, SQL, APIs, authentication, validation, and automated tests.
- Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development practices.
- A portfolio, code samples, or clear examples of shipped work.
How success will be measured
- Well-scoped features delivered with low defect rates.
- Clean collaboration across design, frontend, backend, QA, and operations.
- Visible improvement in code quality, performance, and user experience.
